Job Overview

Our company is looking for an experienced sales executive with leadership experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team, developing and executing a sales and marketing strategy to increase sales, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The Business Development Manager will also be responsible for analyzing market trends and competitor data, as well as developing relationships with key customers. The Business Development Manager will play a crucial role in shaping the company's sales and marketing vision and executing plans to achieve strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and meet business objectives.

2. Lead and manage the sales team; providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve targets and deliver exceptional results.

3. Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and use this information to inform service positioning and marketing campaigns.

4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, leveraging these connections to drive business opportunities and revenue growth.

5. Develop pricing strategies, sales incentives, and promotional activities to optimize profitability and market penetration.

6. Attend local and regional chamber/affiliate organizations events for networking and brand visibility.

7. Manage the sales efforts and reporting within our CRM platform and ensure all account notes, events, and opportunities are up to date.

8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in sales and marketing, and incorporate relevant innovations into the company's approach.

9. Oversee the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, social media, and content marketing initiatives.

10. Manage the sales/marketing budget, allocate resources effectively, and ensure cost-effective marketing investments.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).

2. Proven experience in sales leadership roles, with a track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.

3. Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable plans.

4. Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a focus on fostering collaboration and motivating teams to achieve exceptional results.

5. Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

6. In-depth knowledge of sales and marketing principles, techniques, and best practices. IT/Cybersecurity knowledge is a plus.

7. Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to forge and maintain partnerships with key decision makers.

8. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market conditions.

9. Proficiency in using sales and marketing software tools and platforms.

10. A passion for innovation, creativity, and continuous learning in the sales field.
